Tough Mudder
A huge congratulations to our incredible Tough Mudder team, who have officially completed one of the UK’s most demanding obstacle challenges in support of One Fylde.
Battling through mud, water and a series of physically demanding obstacles, the team demonstrated determination, resilience and outstanding teamwork from start to finish, crossing the finish line with a real sense of pride and achievement.
The Challenge
The challenge was inspired by Neil Bennett, who is supported by One Fylde and set out to raise funds for both One Fylde and Cancer Research UK. Neil’s determination to take on Tough Mudder encouraged seven colleagues from across the charity to join him on the course, turning one person’s ambition into a shared journey of support, encouragement and achievement.
For Neil, the event was about far more than completing a challenging obstacle course. As someone who refuses to let barriers define what he can achieve, he tackled every obstacle that came his way with courage and determination, inspiring everyone around him. His efforts continue to challenge perceptions and demonstrate that anything is possible with the right mindset, support and belief in yourself.
Teamwork and Dedication
Throughout the challenge, the team worked together to overcome obstacles, push through difficult moments and celebrate every success along the way. Their achievement is a reflection of the values that sit at the heart of One Fylde: inclusion, opportunity, teamwork and empowering people to achieve their goals.
We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, shared messages of encouragement and supported the team throughout their Tough Mudder journey. Your generosity helped keep spirits high and made every muddy mile worthwhile.
There is still time to support the team and celebrate their achievement. Every donation, no matter the size, will help us continue creating opportunities, promoting independence and supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism across the Fylde Coast.
