Changing Lives in Our Community

Running the 2026 TCS London Marathon

We’ve Got a Runner! 🏃‍♀️🎉

We are so excited to announce that Gill, one of our incredible Registered Managers here at One Fylde, will be running the 2026 TCS London Marathon to raise vital funds for the people we support!

Gill’s journey with One Fylde began back in 2006, when she made a life-changing career switch and nearly 20 years later, she’s still making a difference every single day. From starting as a Support Worker to leading teams and now shaping the future as a Registered Manager, Gill has dedicated two decades to supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism.

To mark this amazing milestone, Gill has set herself a fundraising target of £7,300—that’s £1 for every day she’s spent making lives brighter at One Fylde!

Gill says: “The London Marathon is my way of giving something back to the people and the organisation that have meant so much to me. I’ve never run this kind of distance before, but with every mile, I’ll be running for a purpose.”
