The Awards
The Heart of the Hub team were nominated for the Hospitality Hotshot Award at the Freshies. This is a a regional award ceremony hosted by Fresh Perspective once a year. The awards are a way to celebrate and recognise the incredible contributions of local organisations and community projects.
While we didn’t take home the trophy on the night, we absolutely walked away with something just as special – an evening filled with laughter, celebration and shared memories. From singing our hearts out to dancing the night away, it was a reminder of just how strong and connected our team really is.
Moments like these show that what we’ve built at our community café in Fleetwood is about so much more than great food and service. It’s a place where friendships grow, kindness is shared and real impact is made every day.

And the surprises didn’t stop there. We were also incredibly proud to be shortlisted for the Shining Star Award – a special recognition for a team that truly stands out and leaves a lasting impression. If there’s one thing our team does best, it’s exactly that!
